Power Injection for Patency and Imaging r4 Vascular offers power injection on selected PICC catheters as an important adjunct for catheter maintenance and injection of fluids like contrast media for diagnostic imaging. Increased flow rate for contrast media injection media enables higher resolution imaging. The multiple lumen design of r4 catheters helps to lessen needle sticks for greater patient comfort and safety. Multiple lumens also allow one catheter to perform the work of two for fewer access procedures by the clinician and caregiver. r4 Vascular’s power injection is available on Zeus , Pegasus™ and Pherocious™ CT PICC lines. |
